This model features a heavy duty lathe type chuck where extra gripping power is needed. Centring the rod also becomes a simple operation. The lathe has a reduction box which gives it the torque needed for shaping Duralon or Cork grips. A separate dryer rotisserie with a standard chuck is included, the dryer spins at approximately 14rpm. The bed is fitted with a "hands free" triple ball baring thread carriage/tension holder. |
